Florol is dsm-firmenich's fresh, dewy floral alcohol with a clear lily-of-the-valley character. It is one of the key building blocks perfumers now use to create muguet notes, and it adds a watery, natural freshness to florals.
What it smells like
Fresh, dewy lily of the valley with a watery-green and slightly rosy nuance. Clean and natural-smelling.
How perfumers use it
Use it as a core muguet material alongside hydroxycitronellal, and to freshen rose, white-floral and green accords. It is stable in many functional bases.
Blends well with: Hydroxycitronellal, Hedione, Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, Dihydromyrcenol, Musks.
