Allyl amyl glycolate (AAG) is a sharp, green-fruity material with a pineapple and galbanum character. It is extremely diffusive and gives fresh fragrances a bright, modern, slightly metallic lift.
What it smells like
Green pineapple with a galbanum sharpness and a faint fruity-metallic edge. Very powerful and radiant.
How perfumers use it
Use it in small amounts to add a sparkling green-fruity top to fresh, aquatic and masculine fragrances. It pairs well with dihydromyrcenol, citrus and woody-ambers.
Blends well with: Dihydromyrcenol, Iso E Super, Hedione, Citrus oils, Galaxolide.
