Cedramber is IFF's dry, ambery cedarwood material. It is cleaner and more radiant than cedarwood oil, with a warm amber undertone that makes it a natural partner for Iso E Super and ambergris notes.
What it smells like
Dry cedarwood with an ambery warmth and a faint smoky, leathery edge. Tenacious and diffusive.
How perfumers use it
Use it as a woody backbone in masculine, woody and amber fragrances, to dry out sweet accords, or to reinforce a cedar note. It blends easily with Iso E Super, Ambermor and vetiver.
Blends well with: Iso E Super, Ambermor, Cashmeran, Vetiver, Dihydromyrcenol.
