Musk T is Takasago's ethylene brassylate, a sweet, powdery macrocyclic musk and one of the most widely used musks in perfumery. It is smooth, easy to dose and fixes a formula without shouting.
What it smells like
Soft and sweet with a powdery, slightly floral musk and a faint fruity edge. Quiet up close but long-lasting, with a clean skin-like glow in the dry-down.
How perfumers use it
Use it as a base note and fixative in white florals, clean laundry accords, ambers and attar-style oils. It layers well with Galaxolide and Habanolide for a richer musk base.
Blends well with: Galaxolide, Habanolide, Hedione, Iso E Super, Ambermor.
